I don't think the Indians have realised the series has started either.

ps. Ghambir is talking up their chances at home in the return series, and the ICC don't even care what the score is, or how they perform overseas, saying that it's more important that they play well at home. Talk about heads being stuck in the sand.

Sehwag is a better captain than Dhoni.

Ridiculous scheduling. Today is a work day and it's 37 degrees. Same tomorrow. Had they started the Test on Thursday they would have had a Public Holiday for Day one followed by a day when many are taking the day off for a long week-end followed by the week-end. Possibly would have doubled the attendance. But, as we all know, bums on seats don't count for much anymore, it's the TV rights that take priority.

Who's watching TV today? It's a work day.

Ridiculous scheduling from all angles, and all this to make space for the BBL final. At least we have our priorities right at CA.

How do you figure that? He's been bowling for a declaration since before tea on day one. Sharma's just bowled three good overs and now Sehwag has taken him off and replaced him with more Sehwag.

The Indians are still wandering around in the field like they have all the time in the world. It's not like Sehwag has hurried them up at all.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

C/A have dodged a barrage of bullets by the national team performing well.
Imagine the outcry if we were losing and there was no exposed form to promote players!
Shaun Marsh has a Chris Martin series average

Agreed, but Sehwag is still a better captain than Dhoni

Actually the following have all been better captains than Dhoni - Richie Vandenberg, Chris Cowdrey, Lee Germon, Salman Butt, Chris Newman, Brad Green

Maybe the jury is still out???
Did anyone see the, wicketkeeper with one guy standing @ a 2.5 slip position, field? Clarke got a healthy edge and these two just watched the ball sail to the fence, going past them at chest height!

Also the lack of pressure on Pup and Punter whilst batting through the 90s?
Even the straight before and after tea break bowling were garbage for the batters to eat up.
At one point I thought Ponting was going to get the 20 odd runs needed for his century in the two overs before tea?

If Dhoni was captain, that guy fielding at 2.5 slip would have been on the cover point boundary.

What has happened to Dravid? What an awful series, how many bowled now?

As for Sehwag, he is just a crap cricketer ATM, no need to worry about his captaincy.

Looking at the Aussies, what has happened to Hilfenhaus? Can he continue it after this series?

Btw am I the only one that can't stand hearing James Brayshaw commentating?
