Seems a few think the same. Only 2 rounds in & already one player has signed on to play elsewhere in 2013.

It really is a farcical situation isn't it? Something needs to be done, whether its a draft, transfer window, anything.

Billy Slater amazes us all again.. Storm win 30-6 and Billy becomes the biggest scorer of all time for a full back.

I don't get sick of saying it, he's a freak.

I've seen Johns, Langer, Lewis, Lockyer, Marshall and Fittler all at their prime. He's got them all covered.

2 trys a game so far this year has broken the record with 130 trys for a fullback and still a few years left in him, unbelievable.

Any team that has Cam Smith at hooker and Slater at full back will score tries. He gets Billy over the line so often its just not funny

They're a fantastic combination, also with Cooper Cronk & his kicking game. I saw Billy & Cam interviewed after the game & the three of them have been playing together for around 12 years now. I just love that they all came to Storm when they were teenagers and have developed into the players they are with us.

Slater got another two trys, broke another record.
                    Where does it end?

                      It never ends.

He'll just keep scoring tries till he's 50.

Seems like Melbourne Storm may how to set some sort of deadline re: Cooper Cronk who's out of contract at season's end.

The Storm face Newcastle on Friday night. Generally the Friday night games are shown around midnight into Melbourne. Anyone know if Channel 9 will televise the Storm game live via its second station?

                          Not according to the guide.

Hope they do, as we have signed for Foxtel but it isn't being installed until April 3!

You have to wait until 11pm to see Friday night games on Foxtel as they're Channel 9 games. And there is no way Channel 9 will show NRL into Melbourne at a decent time on a Friday night, even on one of their secondary channels. We absolutely saturated their facebook page for the round 25 game last year Manly v Storm. It was a Friday night game, 2nd V 1st, sold out at Brookvale and they still wouldn't show it before midnight into Melbourne. They are idiots & the sooner the new television rights come up the better.

And re. yesterdays game - Billy is a gun, I really hope Cooper Cronk stays and GO STORM!!

It just won't rate, so you can understand why they won't show it at prime time on a friday night.
