Little bit disruptive to have a presser to say you're leaving( A Lebron James performance)
Why would you go to the Titans? 35 Million dollars in the poo. Gotta think he's staying

That article has been changed from what it was earlier when it was all about him leaving. I hope he stays.

Me too! There were a few Storm players tweeting yesterday and congratulating Channel 9 on finanally showing NRL live into Melbourne???? But I can't find anything about it anywhere! I hope I can get to see Storm play tomorrow night (we don't get our Foxtel until next week!).

I'm anxiously waiting for 10.30am. I really don't know what to think. Watched NRL on Fox last night & they were sure he'd stay. As they said, why would he call a press conference the day before a home game to announce that he's leaving? I will be over the moon if he announces he's staying on a long tern contract but will be very disappointed if he's leaving. I've been reading all sorts of rumours on various Storm forums. Will wait to hear it directly from Cooper before I have an appropriate emotional response!!

Here you go, the Melbourne tv guide has been changed to show our game live on GEM. It's about bloody time Channel 9!! Hopefully more NRL coverage on free to air tv in Melbourne will encourage poeple to come to the games. It's great fun!!

Woo Hoo! Yippee! We love going to the games as well, but my better half is a Collingwood supporter so he will be at the G tomorrow night. I would be happy to go on my own, but it would mean public transport unless I waited for the footy to finish, and as I can't walk far (arthritis & serious back issue), I don't think I could make it to the station. I so totally agree, being there is so much better than watching on TV. I just love the antics of Storm Man!

I am quietly confident that Cooper will stay - unless he is not very bright, why would he go to a club reportedly $millions in debt? Sure I get that he wants to go home, but at what price? I hope I'm right!

Great News after all the speculation.

                            Wonderful news.

I'm sure they naysayers up north will be crying 'Salary Cap' but with the scrutiny on them now and News Ltd in effective control of the club you can't accuse them of doing anything untoward.

Yeah, Ron Gauci actually said in the press conference that they worked closely with the NRL to ensure it was all within the salary cap.

Thanks Suz - I'll keep that in mind! Enjoy the game tonight - I'll be glued to the TV! What fantastic news about Cronk. I sat with the Ipad on my lap from 10.30am yesterday and watched as the tweets from Storm unfolded the story!
