Hopefully he's learned a bit from his monumental stuff up at Chelsea and also how to deal with the British media.

i think thats harsh. AVB wasn't given enough time at Chelsea. This guy is a good manager & if given the time & support at spurs will do good things at White Hart Lane. Great appointment by spurs.

I guess depends on if your a chelsea supporter or not. His eight months at the bridge were diabolical, would have been given all the time he needed but wanted to run before he could walk. His treatment of Chelsea players like Anelka, Alex, Lampard ,Drogba , Cole and Cech was disgusting.

from a couple of things i remember reading it sounded like the players wanted to run the show & didn't give him any respect.Probably too inexperienced to be dealing with such huge egos & such a bid club at his age.

Have to wait & see how he goes at spurs but I think he'll do a good job. big shoes to fill as Harry did a great job in his time there. I wonder if AVB will try to get Joao Moutinho to White Hart Lane? he is big fan of his & there were reports last season of Joao possibly heading to Stamford Bridge. They do need a replacement for Modric.
