Stuff like that just seems to happen to Manuel Almunia. Some of the things he did when playing for Arsenal could drove us mad.

Still he's really hard to get annoyed at for some reason. He is Watford's captain now isnt he?
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

I see if we have a nil all draw with Everton and Arsenal win 2-1 then there will have to be a tie breaker played at a neutral venue, probably Wembley to decide 3rd.

Another must win for Arsenal to stay in the top 4.

It's a little bit silly that Newcastle after such a horrible season could potentially finish close to top half.

Glad we stayed up, though considering it was only on the weekend we secured that status is disappointing. I'm sick of Ashley's BS.

With one game left the difference between 17th and 11th is two points I think.

                  Re: 2012-13 EPL Thread

Pretty great end to the season for me. Outright third and a trophy, happy with that considering what happened in the middle and the amount of games we played(69 which is the most an EPL side has ever played).

                  Thanks Rafa.

Got a feeling it's going to be a very exciting season coming up next.

What a beast Lukaku is becoming.

Bloody fourth with no trophys again. I'm beggining to understand how Richmond supporters feel...

The financial gains are worth millions of pounds. 15 years in a row qualifying is pretty good, but yes, a trophy would be nice.

Where does the cash go though? Does it mostly goes straight into the pockets of Kroenke, Hill-Wood and the rest of the directors/share holders? Or does it fatten Arsene's recruiting budget?

Playing in Europe makes it a little easier to attract quality players I guess. And there is always the bonus of finishing on top of Tottenham.

Frustrating being a Arsenal supporter and not getting any silverware, but the ability of Wenger to keep them being a relevant team for 16-17 years in a row is amazing.

Conversly, imagine your were a Spurs supporter, where your only 'silverware' ambition is to finish above Arsenal...and you never achieve it. Very sad ;-)

Cheers. I'm hoping we can sign Rooney. A goal poacher like him would be ideal for our style of play.

                                That's quite a gap.
