Most pundits dont know what they are talking about though. I'll leave it to a former English ref, Graham Poll

Those elite UEFA referees watching will not have been surprised at the red card but the English ones would acknowledge they would not have dismissed a player for the same offence in a Premier League game.

the more you watch the incident the more you can see why the Turkish referee decided that the red card was the appropriate sanction.

There's dodgy decisions in every second UEFA game nowadays, we just copped one in Romania which handed them the win.

haha ah yes thats right he made a mistake in a big game once, his opinion of decisions is obviously less than that of a pundit who doesnt know the rules.

My argument gets weaker with every post but has never changed, not sure how that is possible. Guy kicks guy in chest = min yellow, max red. Ref gives max. Outrage because it happened to an English team.

Is any still arguing that it was barely a yellow? Because that is what I was arguing with, that kind of fanboi delusion annoys me.

Bertrand had a penalty called against him for having an arm across the chest of the striker. Nothing in it, just a dodgy call.

It's amazing how well we have gone this season playing a man down most weeks

Yet the FA didn't support Poll. John Terry was fined for questioning Poll's integrity and therefore he constituted improper conduct. There was no winner in that case.

In regards to Clattenburg I do believe Mata, Ramires and Mikel thought they heard something(why would they make it up ?), but couldn't prove it. They may have miss heard him, but he definitely lost control of the match that night.

Barca and Gala through to the next round. Milan blew their chance when Niang missed what he should have scored, 30 seconds later Messi scores again and it's game over.

Watched some of the highlights of Barca and Milan and yeah that goal should have been tucked away. It could have been a different story then. Barca very strong at the Nou Camp and would be very happy coming from 2-0 down on aggregate. Im guessing we Man Utd go into the Europa League as we were knocked out of the Champions League last week.
