Champions of Europe.
Been following them since the early 80's, gee how times have changed. I would say my love for them is on par with the Dogs.
And ironically enough before Abramovich came along their lat title was in 1954. I wonder if we could interest Abramovich in AFL and a club that hasnt had much success lately...

The trouble with the EPL is that only 4 or 5 teams can realistically win it. The whole thing is a big joke, the more money you have the more likely hood of a premiership. I started following Arsenal like Two Dogs when they won the double and Charlie George was a super star, but over the years I have found the whole thing boring with the same old winning.
Charlie George was such a great player. Thierry is by a long way my favorite Arsenal player but Charlie along with Tony Adams, Patrick Vierra and Cesc Fabrigas are on the second line.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

It would be great. It definitely would help lure some of the top players to our club and who knows win a premiership but our league is based on salary caps so that won't happen but it is a dream.

I think Twodogs was employing a bit of sarcasm there ED.
My uncle and cousin roped me in to being a Man U supporter. My first game was the 1995 FA Cup Final, which was a 1-0 loss to Everton despite Man U dominating the attack after Paul Rideout's goal.
IIRC Everton had Gary Ablett playing at Left Back.

Gary Ablett died earlier in the year from Non-Hodgkin lymphoma, a form of blood cancer. He is the only player to win the FA cup with both Everton and Liverpool. He also won two first division titles with Liverpool. He was a very good player.
In 1984 when Everton won the FA cup final they had a player called Kevin Sheedy although he missed the final but did win two first division titlles with the Toffees. Tragically he has just announced he is suffering from bowel cancer.
