                Stonewalling is a characteristic sadly lacking in our current team. The Saffers can bat 140 overs to save a match and England can as well - we'd be lucky to survive 40 overs in the 4th innings.

                EDIT - 2 wickets in 3 balls by Williamson and still 3 overs to face with 1 wicket left. Cracking test match

                                    Should have taken Williamson straight off and brought Southee on to have a crack at 6 balls to Monty. Williamson more than did his job getting 2 wickets in the last over. NZ lucky that they get 6 balls at Monty now for the final over.

                                                        Great effort by the Poms to hold on for 143 overs, especially after being 4/90 overnight. Bruce Martin sure aint Daniel Vettori - ultimately that was the difference as they didn't have a front line spinner who could carve through the opposition on day 5.
