Just watching Canterbury Souths game.
Phil Gould quote " it's going to be a great finals series" then reeled off every team competing bar one!!
Guess Who ?? What a complete oxygen thief that dinosaur is!!

It's so easy for some of the commentators north of the border to forget the reigning premiers. Makes it even sweeter when we win.

Disappointing loss to the Rabbitohs last weekend. Our slow starts are killing us. Was heartened by the way we played in the second half though and if not for a couple of questionable refereeing decisions we could have very well won it. So now on to Saturday night at AAMI Park v Newcastle Knights. We will have to be switched on right from the start, they have pushed us both times we've played them this year. Really hoping for a win and a preliminary final against the Roosters the following week.

And what a joke that the Sharks scored of a 7th tackle v the Cowboys. These basic errors should not happen. The Cowboys have now been eliminated from the finals two years running by bad refereeing.

and the NRL said they can't do anything about it? With video reviews etc , how can they make such mistakes.

They should have taken the 6 points off the scoreboard at half time. Too late once the game has finished.

Excellent GF and The Roosters deserved comp winners.
Thought the pre- match was excellent.
I can see George Rose becoming a cult figure at the Storm next season.
His skin folds are going to be interesting

Was wonderful that Manly lost.

Pity Channel 9 in all their usual wisdom cut straight to a movie rather than show the post match presentations into Melbourne.

I think Craig Bellamy will whip Gorgeous George Rose into some sort of shape!

Not good news.

I'll believe it when I hear it directly from Cam. It's pure media speculation, the Broncos are interested but are not even allowed to speak to him until 1st November. He is signed with Storm for 2014 but has said he will have made a decision before the season starts. I really hope he stays a Storm player for his whole career.
