Doesn't mean he didn't bowl poorly. Patto was the bloke people were worried about needing something in the deck, I thought it would be Siddle finding the inconsistent bounce in the deck but he hasn't threatened yet.

Yup. I've got an awful feeling about this.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

BTW what Dhoni did to us last night must feel like how other countrys supporters felt when Gilchrist had finished with them. The game was fairly even but Dhoni just snatched the game away from us in a couple of hours. It was terrific to watch.

I dont think I've ever seen a pitch that colour before. From the camera's position it looked orange.

If you put a net across the middle of the wicket and a player at each end you could think you are watching the French Open.

Dhoni destroying us, starting to get ugly....

Edit- Patto gets him! Great effort ball to have him out hooking on this deck

All out for 572, 192 run lead.

India may not need to bat again.

It may look shithouse, but there's been 952 runs scored on it for the loss of 20 wickets with 3 players making centuries. I don't know what measuring system the pitch wouldn't pass under.

Siddle the most economical, Pattinson with 5 wickets and Lyon conceding 215 runs at an average 4.57

                        Terrific performance from Pattinson.
Indian spinners look dangerous ( Watson out) Lyon doesn't.
In fairness we have wickets for pacemen.
They conjur up wickets for their strengths.
Their spinners are better , simple.

Australia couldn't buy an LBW for love nor money, yet 5 Australian batsmen have been given out LBW. It's no wonder India won't allow DRS to be involved in their matches, it makes it harder to bully umpires into giving favourable decisions.

I was going to make the exact same comment.

Didnt see much of India batting but every LBW I have seen for India (4 of them) has been the correct decision.

Looking like an innings defeat... It was always going to happen after the lead was extended to close to 200.

I heard Warne saying there was only four players on form that should be selected in the next test. Clarke, Henriques, Pattinson and I think he said Warner. I'd add Wade to it but I think Watson heads back home now and I wonder what changes they should make? Doherty for Starc and maybe Khawaja for Watson?
