Seems to me like the selectors didnt give a rats clacker about this series and picked players based on the Ashes.

Hughes has to be dropped, this is just getting painful now.

Hughes really could have just protected his stumps and worked it on his on-side without much trouble.

Sweeping and leaving two stumps visible provided an indication of a player bereft of confidence and probably ability to get his bearings in unfavourable conditions for him, and he showed that being a ball striker counts for very little if you don't have your positioning right.
          TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

Warner gets bowled middle and leg and then the Axeman follows suit. Here's a tip - play straight particularly against the ball turning into the stumps. They can protect their leg stump with their pads all day long against this stuff but instead they play across the line.

Is it correct that in the last 40 or so balls of this series that Hughes has faced against spin he is 4/0?

His technique is a shambles.... So glad we buried Quiney to give this bloke every opportunity to succeed.

Could be right. For the series he faced 51 balls of spin for 6 runs and 4 dismissals.

Debacle alright. After an ok opening stand of 56 we lost 10/75.

Australia's total runs for the test = 368.
                      Vijay & Pujara's 1st innings runs = 371.

Clarke says he will move up the order. Honestly I think its the least of our concerns

^Agreed. I don't see how him doing that will do anything other than unsettle his game, if anything.

I've always said India whilst touring are about as hard as a poo sandwich, we're quickly proving to be no better.

                            I agree.

I'm a fan of Hughes and would like to see him given an extended run during the Ashes, but I can't see what good playing him in the last 2 Tests will do for either him or the team.

You have to wonder about the so called "coaching".
Can't remember the guys name but he is much vaunted ( Hughes batting coach)
Cricketers were taught as juniors to use feet to spin bowlers.
The wickets here are a joke( to many result wickets)
The Scheldue is detrimental to producing test cricketers
The attitude of "dominate the bowling " has to be reviewed.
We're not powerful to do that.
