        Brilliant!

The ball is moving all over the place off cracks in the pitch... During the 3rd over of the Test

I don't think we have ever won a match at this venue and it is a spinners paradise. Another embarrassment coming up.

Watson out for 17, I can't understand how his complete lack of runs in Test cricket has gone totally unnoticed.

He is a bowling all-rounder who can't bowl.

I think you're being generous there Rocco. In the past 18 months he's averaged 26 from 12 Tests with no hundreds and only 4 scores above 50 in 20 innings. You'd struggle to be an bowling all rounder with those numbers.

To put that into perspective Starc is averaging 32.70 with 2 scores above 50 in 14 innings.

What a "big show" from Maxwell. 3 wild swipes- 6, 4, out.

How can we be so bereft of talent we're picking these dud all rounders in every test. It seems if you're not a good enough batsmen all you need to do is trundle out some overs and you'll get a look in at selection.

"The Big Show" is a limited overs cricketer full stop.
Once again Cowan gets a start but doesn't go on with it.
Warner see " The Big Show"another limited overs cricketer
Steve Smith at least moves his feet and looks like a batsmen.
Watson should never play for his country again, let alone captain

He's probably keeping Cowan in the side, any sort of form you'd have thought he would be displacing Cowan at the top of the order. Is the idea of a Chris Rogers return getting less insane for others or is it just me?

I'm certainly not against picking a player for the next 11 months. We have 10 Ashes tests in that time, if that's all the player will be around for then that's fine, There's no need to sacrifice the present in the hope for the future when we have so many important matches coming up.

As for Rogers, I'm not sure he's going to be a big improvement.

Far better player than Cowan, top 2 runs in the Shield this year and was in the top 5 run getters in the County comp last year. Rogers brings a first class average of 50 and 58 tons compared to Ed Cowans first class average of 39 and 16 centuries. Rogers consistently goes to England and puts up massive numbers, knows the conditions as well as any Aussie.

Cowan at the moment looks like a decent Shield player who had a hot patch but isn't at international standard...In saying that I wouldn't be picking Rogers, its the type of selection England were famous for, bring back Brian Close, nearly call up Mark Ramprakash for the 2009 Ashes, Australian cricket has always moved forward for better or worse.

Our bowlers bat better than our batsmen

Rogers a good bloke though? I thought he just wanted to play his cricket and be left alone, and as such didn't fit in with the lads?

I couldn't care about age at this point. Let's get the best batmen in the side and make all the others earn a spot.
                              TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.
