Watson will bowl very little. Did not bowl in the Somerset match.
Lehmann has said he is playing as a genuine allrounder, didn't bowl because they wanted to get a decent run into Faulkner. Will bowl in the final warmup

They have conceded that opening the batting restricts his ability to bowl.

Still an option for 5-10 overs an innings, you make it sound as if he won't bowl at all which isn't the word coming from team management. Would you go with Faulkner in the lineup?

While I see Faulkner being a very good player over the next 10 years, I do believe we need the best 6 batsman plus Haddin and the best 4 bowlers as the right mix. Obviously Watson is the additional bowler if needed and better than having to call on a Hussey for a few overs. He is a wicket taker and might just be the partnership breaker in the series. I agree on the 5 to 10 overs an innings. Hoping he doesn't actually need to bowl.
Faulkner has claims as a 7th batsman or a 5th bowler which leaves him out.
I am confident enough with the bowling through Pattinson, Harris, Bird, Starc and even Siddle as pacemen. Lyon probably gets a go depending on pitches.
Would like to be as confident with the batting, but if Watson and Rogers can get some starts we might be ok.
