Funny thing is, he's still probably in our top 6 batsmen.

He's leaving the game as he entered it, with a crap load of runs.

Chris Rogers wih 161* overnight for Middlesex, save some runs for the Tests big boy. Steve Magoffin was dulled for the first time this season with 0/61, he was coming off a 12 wicket haul a few weeks back, couldn't get a man more suited to English conditions. Marcus North made just 4, Trent Copeland picked up another 3 fa to continue his stellar year and Ed Cowan made a slow 47 off 150 balls before he was removed

Aus A doing it pretty easily over Scotland as you'd expect. Haddin hit 113, Khawaja 51 and Pete Siddle hit his maiden first class ton with 103 as the Aussies compiled 372/8 dec.
We then ran through Scotland for 149, Patto picked up 3/16 from 8, all the other bowlers chipped in. Going for quick runs we are 4/165 from 35, only notable is Doolan who made 47.

360 run win for Aus A after running through Scotland for 93, Patto again the pick and could be set for a huge Ashes with 4/21, reports say he was getting the Duke to hoop around. Sayers picked up 3/16.

Great runs/wickets chart on the CA website, tried to transfer it across but proved past my technical knowledge. At the bottom of this article: http://www.cricket.com.au/news-list/...y-practice-106

Bit late with this but decent win for Australia A against Ireland in a rain affected match last week. Aus A were 9/312 dec, Steve Smith the standout with 133 and J Pattinson made his debut first class half century.
Ireland responded strongly with 4/186 dec, Agar the pick of some average bowling figures with 2/32.
Aus A then went after quick runs and it came off smacking 174 from 20 overs for no loss, Maddinson smacked 113* from 63 and Doolan 56* from 59.
Ireland were set 301 in a day and were all out for 207 thanks to Henriques with 4/22 and Lyon who grabbed 3 crucial wickets for 40
Fawad Ahmed played but didn't get a heap of bowling, match figures of 1/65 from 17

Peter Siddle was bowling in the county game last night.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Has been pretty poor all season over there apparently. Finch and Hastings are also going around

He wasn't setting the world on fire in the game I was listening to the other night. It was a county game (Notts v Surrey I think) and he was bowling in tandem with Stuart Broad. I listened for a session or so and I don't think either took a wicket.

Interesting that he chose to go over to be honest. He looked fairly burnt out in South Africa. He has said before that he is the type of guy who likes constant bowling but he has been going virtually non-stop since the Ashes in the UK
