Haven't 3 of those games been basically dead rubbers.

I know the last 2 against Arsenal were for sure. Bayern didn't even get out of first gear.

Just checked I'll go with Bayern's last 5 seasons in the CL. So far they have been in the final in 3 out of 4 of those seasons yet are being labelled as potential chokers....

2013/14 - Arsenal at home - 1-1 draw - not much to say here. Arsenal never threatened

2013/14 - Man City at home - City won 2-3 - dead rubber, Bayern already qualified as top of group - were up 2-0, controlled the game before putting the queue in the rack. Once City got in front they never really threatened again to get the goal they needed.

2012/13 - Arsenal at home - Arsenal won 0-2 - Bayern had a very healthy first leg lead and were comfortable for the whole match. Arsenal scored their second after 86 minutes - Bayern had 23 shots to 5 in this one with Arsenal not having a shot after scoring the 2nd.

2011/12 - Chelsea at home - 1-1 draw - This I would say they choked. Should have won this game but drew it and then lost on penalties. Being a final this is one they will regret.

    2011/12 - City at home - Bayern won 2-0

    2009/10 - United at home - Bayern won 2-1

So they've lost 2 out of their last 4 at home to English opposition. Not their last 4 as previously stated.

And I'd argue that there were in cruise control for 3 of those games.

Oh wowee........what a cracking game. .............2-0 Chelsea and through to the next round. We are so mentally tough.

Nothing comes close to European nights.

Loved Mourinho s run after the 2nd goal.

Unbelievably happy, love these games over any other.

Another amazing ECL victory for my club, never say die, never surrender.

            Real knocked out Dortmund too.

Looks like our away game to Pool is sandwiched between the Semi games..........tough week.

Great win, and a team with sub par strikers they've done well.
              Mourinho does it again

If only it was 2008 we would be fine, Torres and Eto'o in their prime

This is going to be quite the side next season with a couple of decent CF's in the squad.

As expected United got knocked out 3-1 to Bayern(4-2 overall)

How glorious to see Barca knocked out. Atletico winning 1-0 and 2-1 overall.

Barca looked a shadow of themselves and with them not being about to buy for the next two transfer windows it's going to be very difficult from them to replace their ageing stars.

                        Chelsea through, congrats Chef.

Who do you want in the semi?
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Prefer Real Madrid, never seen us play them and think we'll match up best on them. Plus they're very fragile at the back. And Jose would love to knock them out.

Wouldn't mind Bayern, Jose v's Pep is always entertaining and we know we can beat them. Should have beaten them with 10 men earlier in the year in the Super Cup.

Don't want Atletico as they play the same style as us and are a mentally tough unit that plays well as a team, I guess just like us. Simeone is a cracking Manager. Plus Costa is a beast. The only bonus would be Courtois couldn't play against us, as he's probs in the top 3 GK on the planet thats a bit of a bonus.

They've probably got a room with half a dozen top class goalkeepers sitting in it waiting for a call up.

Very impressed with Athletico's pressure on Barca.
Didn't allow any time on the ball.
Thought United were fairly good for the first hour, then got overrun by a superior football side.
You'll like this chef, apparently Barca we're whinging about the length of the grass!!

Doesn't surprise me. I think it would have been done on purpose by AM to nullify Barca's tiki taki game style style. Which is fair enough by AM too.
