Game 3 ends on an obstruction call at 3rd. Game 4 ends on a pickoff at 1st. WTF is going on.

Game 5 ends with a 3 1 win to the Red Sox.

Great to see the Sox win after what happened at the Boston Marathon, and also to win one for the American League after 3 straight titles going to NL teams.

Very happy for John Lackey to clinch another World Series, after pitching game 7 for us back in 2002, and for Jon Lester to be able to fight back from non-Hodgkins Lymphoma (that's a type of blood cancer for the non-medically educated).

Bring on spring training 2014!!!!

You'd hope not. They've screwed themselves over for years as it is. Lucky the best player they have is on one of the lowest wages. Desperately trying to trade some of their younger core for pitching.
Funny that Lackey who 12 months ago would have been the least popular Red Sox was such an integral part of the championship. Was a huge team turnaround from 2012 and they deserved to win it. What was initially a fairly unimpressive off season was vindicated in the result.

The horror season of Bobby V was put to bed. Papi's highlight reel this season was impressive, his speech post Boston Marathon attack was amazing.
