Yes it is but sacking Lowy isn't going to achieve much.

Guus is made out like the greatest of all coaches.
Easy job coming in for 6 months with small respect for the past and little regard for the future on big dollars.
His coaching (playing kalac instead of Schwarzter almost cost Australia a 2nd round berth at the WC.

Seems like a duel between Ang Postecoglou and Graham Arnold for our coaching vacancy.

Why not Ang chef? I guess I'm more inclined to Ang as Arnold has had his time there already.

I see CC as more of a challenger to the A League title than Victory and losing Arnold will weaken them more.

                  Just me being selfish.

I think theyll do alright this year, a lot will depend on Mifsud and Kewell though.

Plus there's a fair chance they'll finish above Victory IMO.

If Aloisi remains at the helm there is no chance. Saying they will finish above Victory is blind optimism at the moment.

Yeah fair enough, should be an interesting season.

I don't think it's that optimistic to think they can finish above Victory this season, whats so special about them this season?.

The A League is very different to the EPL in that there is a salary cap so teams who may of been near the bottom a few years ago can challenge for the title a few years later. The EPL is not like that and you really need an owner who has the millions to spend on getting the best talent. Most EPL teams now are going under foreign ownership.

                              Ang Postecoglou offered Socceroos job.
