3rd test - Australia vs India

It's been confirmed that Tait will be unleashed on India with Australia going in with 4 quicks. Do you expect him and the other guys to really bounce the Indians? If so, perhaps the truce won't last too long.

This might end up being an example of why we don't often use 4 pacemen. The attack just hasn't got the variety even with the left armer. How does everyone rate Johnson ? Right at this moment I don't think he should play in the next test.

I think he has bowled pretty well so far in this match.

Tait looks underdone so it is hard to judge, mentioned before that he hasn't bowled in a 4-day game for 6 weeks.

I think this is the best that Johnston has bowled but I'm not convinced he is going to be a quality bowler for us in the long run.

Tait's doing it tough at the moment.

Johnson could have allot more wickets in this series with better luck. He has done everything but get Dravid out (no-balls, dropped catches, an honest captain, edges not carrying and an LB decision not given when it was plumb). Should have had a 4 fer i reckon.

Tait beat the edge more when he bowled with the wind.

I think the Indians would be well pleased with their effort today. They might have lost one wicket too many but if they can survive the first hour tomorrow they will be well placed.

Clarke is another over hyped New South Welshman.

Agreed. He has talent but he reminds me of the party boy from Narre Warren

Speaking of young Corey, guess who dropped by?

                        Haha, classic.

I think it's stupid how much media and the ridiculous talk about this kid.

As far as the cricket goes, luckily we have Lee at the moment. Johnson ain't half bad either. We really need to get on with it this morning and finish off the tail quickly. By the looks of the pitch it should be a good day for our batsmen, and we should be able to push it along.

I'll be interested to see how Rogers goes too.

                          Don't forget Clark.

Real trouble at lunch. Can Ponting and Clarke pull off the typical Aussie comeback. Makes the way we finished the tail off very valuabe.

I bet when play started this morning, no one expected Australia to be bowling into the last hour!

                            All out for 212.

India lead on the first innings by 118.

Be interesting if Australia have to chase between 380-420. I wouldn't rule them out, tho there would have to be a dramatic improvement.

I couldn't believe it when we 6 for 170 odd and in the bookies eyes we were still favourites to win the match. Well done to the Indians though because they have answered the challenge brilliantly.
