It goes deeper than that our bowlers have won games. Cook's captaincy has been absolutely woeful, particularly when bowling to the Aussie tail-enders. They may not have won the series but 4-0, likely soon to become 5-0, was definitely avoidable. .

Yeah for sure. I think it was the 3rd test and bowling to Lyon they had just the 1 slip. The previous day when bowling to Englands tail we had 4 slips. Just the simple things sometimes

What an incredible outcome.
You would have got 500's the Aussies winning 5 nil.(6/132 in bris, would have got a thousand)
The bowlers in particular have been outstanding, and hats off to Haddin( who this poster has bagged often!)
Certainly the batting needs work, but the attitude change has been incredible.( kudos to Boof and McDermott) Great to see Rodgers being rewarded for mountains of first class runs.

I'm not sure they will be any more Shield fixtures before South Africa, we get over there early February

Hence the issue having the junk food slogathon go for so long!
Can't get a read on any sort of form with batting and bowling.
Talking up James Pattinson, but how do you know if he can get through a 4 day game?

The 5th test as well. Having us 3 down for not much after just dismissing the skipper with Watson at the crease and Smith just arriving Cook takes two men out of the ring and places them both deep. Mind boggling.
