Do those penaltys count in a players career stats?
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

I can see why but now it bothers me that there are goals that have been scored that nobody is credited with.

As much as I love the fact we beat Arsenal , big clubs don't take the Capital one cup that serious and rest a few.

Yeah, good luck to you blokes but I'm not overly stressed about going out early.

One of 4 trophies that are possible to win to me and I'm always happy to watch us in/win a final.

And some of the big clubs do take it seriously, Chelsea and City seem to like to try and win it(I guess having the best, most competitive and deepest squads help). Plus Pool and Spurs have enough ambition too to go after it.

The following 4th round ties will be played in the week commencing Oct. 27:

Tottenham vs. Brighton and Hove Albion
              Stoke City vs. Southampton
              Bournemouth vs. West Brom
              Shrewsbury Town vs. Chelsea
              Liverpool vs. Swansea City
              MK Dons vs. Sheffield United
              Manchester City vs. Newcastle United
              Fulham vs. Derby County

Was at the Lane last night - look out or 2 players to have big futures - Harry Kane and Ryan Mason. Also the first time I have seen Lamela play in the flesh......amazing!

Man City knocked out by a half strength Newcastle at the Etihad, didn't see that coming.

                  Draw for next round(Quarter Finals)

                  Derby vs Chelsea
                  Tottenham vs Newcastle
                  Bournemouth vs Liverpool
                  Sheff Utd vs Southampton

Oh yeah, I'd never knock back a trophy but I honestly couldn't tell you the last time we won this comp. Plus we don't have the squad numbers or depth to go hell for leather in every comp. it's also kind of how I feel about European competition. Premier League, FA cup, beating Spurs, Europe, League Cup in order of importance for mine. Maybe beating Spurs is more important than the FA cup.

To me your club seems to do its fans a disservice, your as rich as any, charge your fans the highest prices in world football and have a manager who seems content to just finish 4th and make the knockout round of the UCL with profits a priority over success.

I have half a dozen gooner mates who all feel this way.

It's exactly how I feel. Add to that we aren't even the #1 team/franchise in the owner's eyes. HTF has it come to this?

Our raison d'être is to finish in the top 4 and get past the group stage of the European Cup. Then the money flows into the Corporation and Ivan and Stan and the Board are happy. We haven't had a proper go at winning the title in years now. Our recruiting is all over the place, we've been crying out for a decent Centre Half for how long?
