I think the world would love to see a United v Liverpool final. One last crack at each other, can the gods get it done?
We'll bring King Eric of the bench to score the winner.

The FA cup is a trophy worth aspiring to. I want to win it again so much more than any other
comp we are still active in. bviously we can't win the Premier league but that doesn't seem to be our raison d'être anyway. The season is deemed a success if we finish in the top four as far as the powers that be are concerned because it gets all that ECL cash flowing in. That outlook got tired a few years ago.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Unfortunately I think the money for making it has gone right up for this year after the rights were done? If so the powers that be will place even more importance on it so I don't think that outlook is going to change.

I just hope you make it, but you can leave King Eric at home.

You're right that this year isn't the best year to fritter away a spot in Europe, but it would almost be worth the short term shock and hit to revenue to get a bit of a shake up to key personnel around the place and a lift in expectations of what the team should be achieving.

You might have to put the shock and awe plans on ice for this year, I can't see you giving up third to be honest.

In a funny way tonight the most important game of our season is being played. Southampton can either.make (yet another) statement about how serious they are about a top 4 spot and win or lose and risk falling away.

We have a pretty good run home with A lot at Emirates so should get our share of points in the last 12 games

Yea you have a good run in so it will be hard to see anyone overtaking you. If we can win tonight you all of a sudden have breathing space.

Always great to win a trophy, even better when it's against a cross town rival.
                    The curse is dead.

Gee the Bradford pitch is looking like Moorabbin in the 80's !!
Nice if Bradford keep this great cup run going , as its 30 years since the fire tragedy at the stadium.
Also nice to see a stadium full for a cup tie.

Has it been that long? I can remember laying in bed listening to that being described as a "small fire, nothing to concern anyone" by a commentator to waking up the next morning and seeing the full disaster.

                        I ws 21.

Gunners through to play Bradford or Reading.

Di Maria red card for diving.

                              Blimey Danny scored.
                              Pretty disappointing result

I think we played Reading in the early 70s and they went 1-0 up against us. We won 2-1 in the end but I think the game was held up for a while when a Reading supporters invaded the pitch.
