    Re: MLB post season

Nats just gave up the tying run with 1 out to get in the 9th.
Zimmermann had thrown a shut out up until then. Into extras now. Would be cruel of them to lose it.

Just starting to watch it now. Just saw Cabrera and the NAtionals coach get tossed. So much drama in the postseason, it's awesome!

Only saw some highlights on Sportscenter.
Glad I didn't tape the nats giants, as it would have taken 3 days to watch.
Tough on the Nats, but the giants are post season specialists .
        Glad the cards lost

Wow, Mattingly. It's like most of the managers are trying to make their teams lose...

The giants proving what a great post season team they are.
Bumgarner was spectacular, and nice to see those red birds lose .
Royals 2 up and surprisingly the long ball is playing a part. They've been baseballs big tease the last few seasons, and finally fulfilling their potential . ( saw game 1)

What a bullpen the Royals have and they have had some clutch hitting. Tigers played the Royals in two massive series in the last few weeks of the regular season and they didn't seem to handle the pressure to well. But in the post season they look like they have plenty of experience in high pressure games. Wish the Tigers had half of what the royals have in their pen. Hasnt the moo stepped up big time.

The moo got sent back to the minors early in the year.

                      What Channell is it on?
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Yeah I was watching. It was great game today. Looked like Royals were in trouble, but great relief pitching. Tense stuff there around the 7th inning...

I'm off to the pub tomorrow at 11am with some mates to watch game 4.. Something about a team wearing orange and black, called the Giants that makes my "good guys" in this series pretty clear!

Go Royals. It'd be great to see a small club win. Post the Yankee dominated years of 90's - early 2000's, the last decade or so has been a mini golden era for baseball. It'd have to be the least predictable sporting comp in the world. The Moneyball era. Gives me some hope for the Doggies seeing smaller clubs doing so well.

The Royals are 80 and 1 leading into the 8th of games.

What an amazing game 7 that was.
Madison Bumgarner just an epic pitching performance , carrying his ball club on his shoulders.
Pablo Sandoval was just as prolific, and for a guy that big he is extremely athletic .
Becomes a f/a and will be in high demand .
Giants have set up a dynasty with 3 w/s in 5 years.
Kansas have a real buzz about them now, and they now know they're in for some good times.
One of the small market teams, and that's great for the sport.

Finished watching game 7 today. Great series and really enjoyed watching it.

Madison Bumgarner wow what a performance!
Kung Fu Panda just so clutch in the post season year in and year out.
Cant forget Pence, one of weirdest players you'll ever see but gee he is effective. He is such a grinder. Has anyone worn their socks as high as that bloke. Everything about his game and presentation is odd, doesn't look like a player but he is gamer alright.

Hats off to KC. Didn't think they had the experience to go far in the post season but they showed the baseball world they were ready. Exciting times for KC with so much young talent on their roster. They need some starting pitching though, they don't have much there and was surprised they got so far in the post season with that rotation. But gee what a bullpen. They would have half a dozen guys in their pen who would walk into our pen and be our best arm.

I think game 4 is one KC can look to as the one that got away. Ned Yost left young Finnigan in too long when you consider how many quality arms they have in there. Especially when you see Herreira & Davis going 2 innings each later in the series.

Will be an interesting off season. Underdog you happy with Maddon being announced as the new manager of the Cubs?

Great pick up Maddon . Renteria was a bit stiff( rookie manager in a developing team)
Cubs have an arsenal of young stars coming through, and it would be a great sporting story if they come through.
