    Glenn Maxwell and 'that' leave

I'm sure we've all been discussing it at work and various other places today, but I just can't stop talking about it.

    Absolutely astonishing.

Staggering. Can only assume he simply didn't see the ball. Would much investigation go into this? I could only imagine if it wasn't such a high paid cricketer that it very well may be investigated.

I'm with Gilly, I've never seen anything like it. If he were Pakistani they'd be investigating him it that's astonishing.

It did cut back off the seam a little bit but that Maxwell looks to have misjudged the length. I think he thought the ball was on a good length to drive but it just kept coming toward him. It's because his batting style is all about hand/eye coordination and no technique.

I've seen a batsman get misjudge and play down the wrong line before but not length. The Show has basically shouldered arms to a yorker.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Averaging 11 or something in his past 25+ innings. He's being exposed as the fraud he is and this sort of embarrassing dismissal will only hasten his fall from grace.

I've never seen a player be so lauded for so little.

He batted at no 3 in a test match for Australia. The most prestigious and responsible position in the batting order. And the selectors got him to do it.

If Maxwell was from Pakistan we'd be questioning that shot.

Maxwell now no. 1 in the world to be most dismissed playing reverse slog sweep.

Shit dismissal. Just play conventional shots FFS.

Yeah but he's come in at 3-30 and made 85 off 62, including several 'ridiculous' boundaries.

                          Match winner.

The game looks shot now after his dismissal. How about he just grind an innings and be respecting of his wicket and guarantee us to 300 runs instead of going after 500 runs?

So if he ground an innings and was 30 not out off 62 we'd be better off? It is a limited overs match.
