I’m actually warming up to Kane’s contrarian shithead gimmick, but he really does love playing the man doesn’t he.

Of course when I think of teams fading out in finals I only ever think of the Bulldogs and never that September killing machine Brisbane.

If I recall correctly, we out lasted a team in an epic semi final on their home deck at some point in 2021. I dunno. They were probably fitter.

After a month of essentially living interstate in lock down!

I mean, I'm not an excuses guy but the whole "live in a hotel room and don't train" BS we copped that month has really been forgotten in the telling of that match. Genuinely no team has ever had it tougher in the lead up. I doubt any ever will.

Plus the Hawks game in Launceston was an ordeal from memory in the last round.
