GWS Sam is only lacking in clubs for legend status. Just 2 clubs when Jonathon Giles has actually managed 4 and Daniel Currie 3.

GWS Sam should get more points, because he is the lesser Sam Reid playing a concurrent career.

But GWS managed to get him off their list. Then somebody must have left the list unattended for a moment, maybe in the back of a cab, and Sam saw his chance and put his name right back on it a couple of years later. That's like taking long service leave afters ten years ekering and GWS kept his job open for him when he got back.

If Sam came in to the PF for Stevie J, instead of Palmer, they might have won - not because Reid is a world beater but because Palmer was one of our best that night.
