I like the answers in this question:

ML: You were asked recently, if you were Gillon McLachlan for a day what change would you make to the AFLand you said you would bring in an independent third party to oversee the integrity department. Did you get a fair hearing in the Michael Talia investigation?

LB: Well that's a can of worms isn't it? I think what gives us peace of mind is we know that we shot ourselves in the foot in that game, that there were things we did or didn't do that directly had an impact on the result. Adelaide were good, but I think it's something that, as years go by people who were privy to what happened may talk about it but I just don't think it's going to do anyone any good to stir that pot again.
