    Re: Round 14 Discussion

On local radio in Ballarat, Dan Lonergan is a pushing for the round to be cancelled.

Can't see the networks accepting that.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

      Re: Round 14 Discussion

There isn't a right answer for it really. For every 'we should cancel the round' opinion, there will be a 'he would have wanted the game to go on' (G.Cornes already this morning)...neither is right or wrong - but I hope there isn't hysteria about the decision either way.

Surely the round will continue, with the possible exception of the Geelong Adelaide clash.

Can't see the AFL/networks/grounds/sponsors (pretty anyone with a financial interest in the sport) being happy with 8 games getting cancelled.
I should leave it alone but you're not right

Make Geelong v Adelaide a draw IMO
If you kicked five goals and Tom Boyd kicked five goals, Tom Boyd kicked more goals than you.

Sunday's game called off, points split.

Rest of the games to be played.

                About right.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

It seemed the only plausible option.

Fairly sound decision making from the AFL, for a change. Credit to Geelong for accepting it as well.

Peter Gordon said this morning if the Swans and Port game wasn't on last night then the round should have been cancelled.

What has transpired is the right decision.

Geelong would have been hard-pressed to play too. I mean, who'd want to beat a team in those circumstances?

                          Back to the footy...

Lake is getting absolutely torched tonight. Some of the worst work I've seen from him. Getting out bodied, out jumped.

Perhaps another year would be one too far.

Even with Collingwood's millions of $$ they cant buy a goal in the 3rd.
More of an In Bruges guy?

Agree Lakey can't seem to get off the ground now

If I hear remarkable player or brilliant player about a Collingwood player one more time tonight I'll spew up.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.
