Nope, these guys are boiler-plate Channel 7 special comments men - they are crap because they are crap. Listen to Carey and you'd believe that Sam Mitchell wouldn't get a game at any other club. As for Ling, it is sad to hear an idiot try and say things that are semi-coherent and sound informative when they are nothing more than stating the bleeding obvious that we can all see on the screen for ourselves. And both do a turn in player cheerleading that would give Bruce a run for his money on Cyril. They are the perfect fit for that piece of shit network.

I'm not saying they're smart or insightful, more so that they'd be unlikely to say the weird camp shit they do if they had a serious commentator calling with them.

I can't recall it. There was 6 minutes of ads, then a round. Then 6 minutes of adds, then a couple of rounds. Then 6 minutes of ads, then one round now, and some more ads. Perhaps it's good I can't remember that embarrassing awful interview with him... But I can, gee this is awful stuff by any standard. But I now know Crown Bet is the officially gaming partner of the AFL...

I Didnt watch it but sounds like Bruce has broken up With Rioli and is now in a relationship with Fyfe, biggest bandwagoner ever.
Definitely going to be painfull listening to Bruce call Freo games next year.
Everytime Fyfe gets the ball he will mention brownlow medal winner and votes he got and how he drives a truck in the bush.
That's on average per game 26 times !

It's seems as Bruce is getting older he's finding it more difficult to hide his lust for some of the players, which makes for seriously awkward viewing, especially as he's a 60 year old man.

It's really unprofessional, but in the current climate everyone's too scared to say anything.

The Bruce-awkwardness was off the charts last night.

He wouldn't stop fawning over Fyfe and touching him. He reminds of the 'Tobias' character from Arrested Development, who is always saying really awkward things, and doesn't realise what he sounds like!

Fyfe handled himself exceptionally.
