There have been good news stories with selection left, right and centre this week.

We've had Vandermeer given his chance and Lin Jong coming back after almost 2 full calendar years on the sideline.

Two years is a long time. I'm hoping Lin is going to come straight out of the blocks and play good footy. I think the shorter quarters will suit him, he gets to a lot of contests and runs away with the ball.

Bennell has played 5 games this year and is out of contract at the end of the season.
Certainly he was a risk worth taking for the Dees but I wonder if he gets another chance next season?
