    Re: 2017 AFL Finals

For all the hoo-hah about Buddy Franklin his output in finals has been disappointing. As much as I dislike Geelong, their ability to bounce back against an in-form side after a crushing defeat was impressive. Some of their lesser lights really shone it what was a very good team effort. Motlop must have been read the riot act. He was very good.

We heard so much about other teams eg Melb who would get a sniff and be very dangerous in bottom part of 8. If as you'd now expect the top 4 play off in the PFs you'd hope that this stupid narrative about us having a lucky break due to the bye will finally end. You'd hope, but I wouldn't count on it.

Simon Goodwin was on SEN last week. Melbourne didn't have the predictably disappointing end to a promising season I thought they had. Apparantly their flakey, catastrophising playing list had too many injuries and it was just bad luck that cost them a place in the eight. Next year for sure.

I hope Paul Roos has all that money the AFL gave him to fix Melbourne stashed somewhere safe so they can't get it back when they finally realise they have been duped and what a shit job he did.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Does Toranto remind anyone of Bartel? Doesn't have speed but is a player that can play anywhere at a high level and impact the contest.

Do we think the fix might be in?

Either that or the bias of the massive home crowd.

What's even more nauseating about a Giants win is you've now got to rely on freaking Richmond, RICHMOND, to do something about it.

These two games this weekend have a feel of WWE about it. Kids and the stupid don't get it, some of us like it, but it's not a real contest when the referee is smashing one side over the head with an aluminium chair. But Vince McMahon gets his story and money so what's the harm in destroying a sport right?

Johnson just kicked his third in front of a masive crowd of about 11,000. This is just an appalling game of football. The Cokes could do with an injection of something - heart maybe. Johnson just kicked his 4th for the quarter.

Is it still going? I switched off and now I'm watching Today I Found Out videos on YouTube. This one is about the black Babe Ruth.

They'll be more pressure next week . Giants will be playing in front of a crowd they usually get at Spotless for a season .
Bit of a bonus Mummy going out , and west coast looked cooked . Going to be interesting from a list management perspective what west Coast do .
