Feels lucky to get just that. It’s bullshit behaviour that creates rule changes. I’d be comfortable with a free kick and 50m penalty in that situation. Basically a shot from 45m as a penalty.

Or a Melbourne jumper. Kozzie Pickett's action in round 1 was 10x worse and more dangerous - but no concussion so doesn't matter to the AFL.

I dunno, I haven't even seen the incident but I just kinda 'knew' DeGoey would be suspended because he's 'suspendable' if that makes sense? Like he's got a bad boy reputation and he's not 'persecuted' like Green so he's a good target to make an example of but the next time Pickett goes to knock someone's head off the rules will be applied the same as normal.
