I have a problem with tribunals using slow mo.
Slow Mo should only be used to see where they hit them it should not be used to look at the actual lead up as it gives the impression a player had a lot more time to change thought and action.
Should only be looked at in real time .

I can play dead well, plus that explosive first two metres so prospective challengers be aware.

The "real time" argument is a bit false as well, because it looks much quicker on video or from the sidelines than the players on the field actually perceive situations as they unfold.

For instance when players take a two grab mark the gap between the first and second grabs for the player seem way longer than it appears on TV. Almost as if it's in slo-mo. I have absolutely no doubt that Maynard knew he wasn't going to smother as he left the ground and that's when he started thinking about what he was going to do next.

And the rest was history.

Every sport that uses camera angles to help make a ruling uses slowed down images to help make their determination. It would be hard to justify not making the most of it.
