Let’s be honest Maynard is a bit of fake toughman/bully boy that gets off with more than most because he plays for Collingwood. Not saying he should have been suspended for the incident but trying to hurt someone isn’t out his character.

GG, that did not happen. As the expert called in said, Maynard had 400 Milisec to make a decision when he was in the air, which is impossible.

McNeil was minding his own business nowhere near the ball and got concussed by Rampe - now that was an injustice.

He made the decision to do what he did before he jumped BAD. That's how it works.

A reflexive action would have been to simply put his hands out to break his fall like all people who put their hands out to break a fall. Balling up was premeditated.

It's an insane defence, 400ms how is that even relevant? What else can you do in that time. You need comparison to make it a reasonable defence.
