Don't piss off old people
The older we get the less "LIFE IN PRISON" is a deterrent...
Good come back by the dogs to run out a draw with a bit to like but the umpiring is still leaves a lot to be desired how the blatant kick out in the pocket would have been picked in the men's comp at any level.

Noticed that the bookies have us as rank outsiders for the AFLW flag, along with Carlton and West Coast. Are we really expected to do that poorly after signs of improvement last season?

Good ammunition for the team. I reckon we’re a sneaky chance to reach finals, maybe even pinch a win first week of finals. Go Girls!!!

Our day will come
And we'll have everything.
We'll share the joy
Just like '54 again.

Those bookies have had too much to drink. They've got us with worse odds than Collingwood, who are already on top-up players and won the spoon last year, Carlton who we flogged last year, and Gold Coast who got smashed in both their praccy games (admittedly against the Lions and Geelong). Meanwhile we beat the Roos (who haven't suddenly turned rubbish - they belted Essendon last week) and drew the game in Perth that in all likelihood we would have lost badly last year (an 0-2 scoreline at half time last year all but guarantees we don't get a goal all game).
The flag might be a stretch, but I don't think something like Port Adelaide last year did by getting to a prelim by sheer will is out of the question at this point.

Also, anyone know why we only played Keeley for about 5 minutes in the Perth game? If I was doing match selection she'd be one of the first I'd pick.

I’ve seen 2 journos who e picked us to win the wooden spoon.
First half of Eagles v Suns has been pretty entertaining. Havana Harris looks an absolute monster.

I've only watched the highlights of the Weagles game but you can see small signs that the skills are getting better. Kicks are getting deeper and marking looks better still a long way to go and the AFL needs to pour money into development at junior level. Ground ball and handballing is still not as clean as it should be but a slow change is coming and the comp is still 10 or more years away.
On a side note most of the scribes don't have us going far this season and I'm going to be keen to see how we go Saturday night. Go Dogs
