I made the trip up to Mackay, that was a pretty awesome way to spend the weekend .
Might have been the only one too, most of the people there either didn't have any merch or were repping their local teams. But I convinced a bunch of them to start doing the doggies doggies doggies woof woof woof chant - late in the game a couple of mates texted me that they could hear it on Fox .

Also finally broke my three year streak of never seeing wins when I go interstate for games.

Not going on with the Port game has hurt their chance at finals but they are playing well. I think I worked out if Carlton lose their next two and we can win ours we'll scrap in.

To make finals, we need:
- WB to win both our remaining games AND
- Either West Coast, Adelaide or Carlton need to lose both of their games AND
- Sydney AND Freo each need to lose at least one of their games.
As long as nothing crazy happens with percentage, we can then make it. We've already got better percentage than Adelaide, Carlton, Sydney and Freo, and if WC lose both of theirs they would drop a bit too.

I don’t think it’ll happen, especially given St Kilda’s current form, but if we can finish our season having won 5 or 6 games with some really dominant performances and some big improvement it’ll have been a successful season.

St Kilda have beaten five teams below us on the ladder in the last six weeks, plus Carlton. Not saying they haven't earned their spot, but the fixture has been easier on them lately which might explain their streak.
Plus their injury list is getting as long as the yellow pages. It's a winnable game.

As for relying on some of the others to choke... I'd like to keep hoping a bit longer if that's ok?

Im a bit in your lane Underdog , with games against Geelong at home and St Kilda away its going to be hard , St Kilda's injury crisis might get us over the line , but before that we have to get over Geelong , we have to find a way to stop Aishling Moloney who has kicked 15 goals so far and Jacqueline Parry who has 11 goals to date , also if we can curb the influence of Prespakis and Morrison , we will be half way home .
Beat Geelong and then we are a good chance to beat the Saints , but with our side being so young it will be a hard slog , we also need our captain to come into the side and lead by example .

Geelong game in Ballarat which is a bit of a bummer when there are only two games left. Would have been nice to go to Whitten Oval this week.

11 point loss to the cats , no chance playing finals now unfortunately .
Hotdog60 was spot on about Hartwig's kicking at goal , but id go one step futher and have a kicking coach give them intensive kicking coaching , if that side could improve their disposal efficiency by say 20 / 30 % they would be a force to reckon with .
They have some lovely players with very good ball handling ability but poor disposal efficiency , improve that and we become a top 4 side .
