I think he does. He is passionate about, and respectful of, the game and calls it straight. He's also highly knowledgeable, having played district cricket for a number of years. IMO he's an excellent commentator when it comes to cricket.

Is it only high profile public/media or senior executive corporate jobs that you can get after ****ing up either so badly or so many times? If I pulled a Tom Morris I'd be selling couriers off rate cards again like I had to in my early twenties after I dropped out of university.

It's funny how the reporters of or arbiters of proper behaviour in the media/corporate sector are so willing to bring people back into the tent providing they've made it to a certain level. Anyone else who ****s up as royally as they might have need to start again and fend for themselves.

Tom Morris can get ****ed and he's perfect for Ch7, where you either have to be a violent thug, a woman abuser, woman hater, rampant misogynist, indigenous sexualiser, big man sycophant or a dickhead to fit right in. It's such a weird network.
