Hard to say but yes Day and Newcombe getting right on top through the middle for the Hawks. Sicily playing well. Meek in the ruck in that first quarter was very good.
The new scoreboard through the fox footy coverage is huge
"Footscray people are incredible people; so humble. I'm just so happy - ecstatic"
He'll have a lot more attention this year so it'll be interesting to see how he handles it. He isn't quick and he isn't strong, not great traits to have as a small forward, but he is clever.

Day and Newcombe look formidable. Meek too.
He's one of those players who doesn't need a lot of it, but can turn it on at times and become dangerous when Hawks get a run on, then get in the opposition faces after being missing for 80 minutes, a very punch able head.

He finished with one kick for the game Nick Watson.

I thought Wicks played him perfectly. It's only one game but I expect the pressure to come to Watson, especially given how provocative he is.
High footy IQ so he does get to the right spots but you can see the blueprint to blanket him. He will need to forego playing for free kicks and falling over - in some ways it reminds me of how the opposition worked out how to play Stringer.
He'll still be dangerous but I'd just be weary of pretending he's a superstar, or destined for it.
