Solid win against North last week is suddenly looking a whole lot better.

There was a free kick in the early game, against Duggan I think, for walking across the boundary with minimal pressure. It was about 98% similar to Daicos on Friday, except Duggan didn't ground the ball so no try!Comment

I told my North mate that I thought the played well last week. Thought they lacked poise and maybe some confidence, plus it was the worst conditions we have played in for years, I reckon Darwin would’ve been cooler. He was still of the opinion they’d finish bottom and wouldn’t get a win for half the season. Early days but guess who was wrong.👍 1Comment

Yeah, absolutely. It still smarts that they got to play round zero last year and had an additional week's preparation over us. It was only at the end of the game where it really blew out and that start made football way less enjoyable than it could have been.
In the last year they've lost their CEO, their president, a heart and soul team man in Neal-Bullen, Joel Smith to drug suspension (done for trafficking, probably just sorting out his mates and offering them rack out of the blue, right?), Lachie Hunter who they couldn't get back on track and keep fit, and almost lost their best non-rucking midfielder because of how they treated him after almost losing his life in an on-field incident, and their car aerial removing tweaker second best non-rucking midfielder because Geelong were sniffing around (nice culture down there). All at the same time senior players are bashing people on the Peninsula.
Oh....their coach is also apparently a shocking gambler and party boy who is overseeing a shit show whilst being abusive to club staff. But is safe.
And the biggest stories in footyland are JUH's absences, and Luke Beveridge's contract. Second biggest protection racket behind Geelong's treatment, or maybe even on par. Long live the establishment.TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.👍 2Comment

Jack McCrae - best on. Bailey Smith - best on last week (pathetic without him this week.) Caleb - among North's best. Dunkley - always in Brisbane's bests. Zaine still has a career, Stringer gets the occasional game. Dahl - did well. Hamling - starred for a while.
And we are still going to win it this year!
We are very well coached!👍 2Comment

Here's how he's started his career at the Saints vs. his last All Australian season with us in 2021:

Here's how he's going vs. Libba for this season:
https://www.footywire.com/afl/footy/ft_player_compare?playerStatus1=A&tid1=16&playerStatus2=A&ti d2=8&type=A&pid1=3800&pid2=3486&fid1=S&fid2=S
Jack's metres gained in round one weren't great from memory, so he's a bit behind his 2021 numbers of 462. Libba's have been good and perhaps it's just a part of his game I don't notice enough (Footywire hasn't got his career number, but last year he was averaging 293m, so this year is a massive step up), it's maybe something he's had to lift in lieu of Bont being out.
Both of these guys use the ball really well. Jack needs, as always, to hit the scoreboard more.
The comparison between these two will be a good watch this season.TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.☕ 1Comment
