Finally have a general defensive stopper that stands out to pick in Smith.

    Backs:
    Weitering - Taylor - Silvani - Ash - Wanganeen-Milera - Brodie Smith - (Dale)

    Outside:
    Sidebottom - Merritt

    Inside:
Butters - Richards - Brayshaw (Serong- McCluggage)

    Ruck:
    Xerri

    Forwards:
Thilthorpe - Hogan - Dangerfield - Miller- Long - Higgins (Mannagh)
    You ****ing what?

Brodie Smith has played 1 game this year (Not the 4 game minimum you stated was a requirement earlier) and against a shit-box team in Carlton.

    Had 17 touches with 3 R 50's.

    FMD!

Lol. My bad. Was a bit eager to get an actual defender in.
My mistake, too much staring at numbers.

Think theres also an argument that if Mannagh is getting in off the back of 5 games Darcy maybe should still be in there off 6 full exceptional games.

Hogans in there ahead of Darcy off the back of 2 good games, and one of them against AFL26 regen Sandy Brock.

I should leave it alone but you're not right

Darcy is still in technically, he is the best player in the comp still.
But he will fall out before he is back, so pulled it early.
            Curtis is the same.

Is it just me or does Higgins look like the biggest reach out of that group?

He's kicked 28 goals to be second in the Coleman. He's probably earned it.

I wonder how close Rhylee West is to a spot in this side, based on your rankings which I'm sure factor in more than just goals...

Across his 10 games this year Higgins has had 56 kicks for 28 goals... that's efficient!

Personally, I think he's a goal hungry cheat, but hey, kicking goals is the name of the game.

I am not a fan, and agree he is a goal hungry cheat.
At this stage, 28 goals, is what it is.
I doub't he is still there at round 15.

The trick with wings at the moment, of the blokes who play pure wing, who deserves it. So many rotations going through the wing, you can justify as a wing, who's stats reflect an inside mid and half forward also.
Hamres is having a great year.

Higgins, Elliot, West, Long and Greene are the best 5 small forwards this year. At least one, if not two, would miss to fit in 3 key forwards and a midfielder or two on the flanks (if it's Humphrey, that's acceptable though). West and Greene in particular I feel are being underrated by the media. They're not only kicking goals themselves, but are the top two non-key forwards for score involvements, and quite high up in Goal Assists and Score Launches. Both are generating a lot of scoring for their respective sides

He really is having a great season. Doubt he gets recognised for it though - probably ends up Dempsey and McCluggage at this stage
