AFL Game Day - Round 6, 2025

He kicked at 59% yesterday, but everyone seemed to be butchering the footy.......

Against the Crows his kicking efficiency was 38%......not to be outdone by the 22% against Brisbane. Overall for the season he averages 20 kicks a game at 48%. Elite.

Was out this afternoon but listening on SEN he played a great game. Certainly would be great to have that type of player in our team.

I dunno if anyone remembers , but prior to the draft that year , we were all over Kossie , but Melbourne got the jump on us in the draft , i agree totally he would be gold in our side right now . Just as a side note the same thing happened with a guy named Paul Puopolo , same thing , we had him tour of facilities pre draft and we were really keen on him and he on us , but of course Hawthorn spoiled our party by picking him , we had picks 22 and 41 Mitch Wallis and Tom Libberatore our next pick was 74 and the Hawks got Puopolo with pick 66 , what a differance thoes 2 players would have made to us .

Dees were always going to take one of Pickett and Weightman and we'd take the other. Pickett is quicker and better at ground level, but he's also a massive sniper. I've never wished we got him over Weightman.

Was just chatting to mates about this. How can you only get 80 SC points from 28 touches and five clearances?

I think the reason is he gave away 2 or 3 free kicks that hurt his SC score big time .

I’m so sick of Bailey Smith. I’m sick of his smug face. I’m sick of seeing him dominate coverage every say. I’m so angry he’s fifth in coaches votes and in AFL’s brownlow predictor. The “he’s just a funny larrikin” narrative this week has been completely ridiculous. I wish anyone would talk about the bit of the story where he and Geelong made a mockery of equalisation by gaming the system.

I hope we thrash those bastards in Kardinia Park, silence the idiot press gallery, and psychologically break him so badly that Geelong wonder why they bothered.

I know he's smashing it out of the park at the moment - he is a gun footballer to be fair - but I can see a point in the not-too-distant future where Geelong will be heartily sick of him.

My brother's a Cats supporter. I had nothing else to do so I went to the Easter Monday game with him.
I'm fairly sure I booed he-who-shan't-be-named more than anyone wearing Hawks colours, and that's as someone who despises Hawthorn.

But it wasn't enough. I'll be going back to the G on Sunday.
