They are as bad as when he went to them, maybe even worse .
    Very similar to Carlton.
The fact that Carlton at least made finals under him is probably more his downfall than not making them like the bombers.
Essendon have 14 players on their injury list - pretty hard to cover

Smith and Stengle late outs after the bye...........must have been putting in the hard yards one way or another this past fortnight!
      TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

The fact is it's round 17 and the season has few surprises left, it seems predictable.
It would be great if a lower team caught fire and just made finals but I can't see it.

Funny to see to see two ex Footscray ruckman against each other in Sweet and Forte , neither could cement themselves in the AFL with us .

It’s not all doom and gloom at the Saints. They have got some good young talent- Tauru, Hall, Wanganeen-Milera, Hastie, Caminiti, Windhager, Phillipou- added to some experience. I would expect them to contend for finals next year. Making it difficult for Hawthorn deep in the 2nd. Expect the Hawks to win pretty easily but hoping for a Saints miracle

Hawks kicking is elite , they seem to find space and can hit you from 50 metres away . Kills us everytime .

Thinking of going behind enemy lines today, just worried it could be an absolute snorefest. Melbourne can be decent or woeful.

Unfortunately Essendon have some exciting young kids.

This might be a happy Sunday for Doggie supporters. Sydney with a close win against Fremantle and now Melbourne off to a quick start against the Crows.
