I think there are plenty of talented players nation wide. I'm not sure another 45 players will change that.

I think we already have stretched it too thin. Plus I don't think there is as much talent available draft wise as there used to be.

Have a look at the players selected in this years MSD as there seems to be a few that have stepped up and taken their chances.
Tom McCarthy should have been on an AFL list last year and a few of the Essendon boys when given a chance have done okay.
Sullivan couldn't get a game with us and has done okay at Collingwood.
Humphries and Wiltshire from Geelong highlight there are AFL level players out there.

Are we going to find 10 star players? Probably not but there are some good enough players to help fill out a list.

Shit round just got the best finish of all time.

          Wanganeen-Milera, what a stud of a player.

                What was that!!!!!!!!!!!!

40 points until 3/4 time. 56 points in the last quarter.

They run down a 46 point deficit. That is the largest 3/4 time comeback in history.

Nasiah just added a lot of $$$$$$$$$ to his next contract.

Yeah I dunno, I dont think the 2 expansion were great for the competition and have weakened the product. I also don't think as many kids play footy nowadays growing up(country clubs are definitely getting knocked around by this atm), and this'll dry up the quality in the draft.

But the AFL is happy with quantity over quality. More games, more money, and that's all that matters.

Nasiah, wow, what a finish. Well done St Kilda for persisting. Electric last 5 minutes. Compelling quarter.
I'd prefer Nasiah to Butters. He can play anywhere. HB, mid, Fwd, X factor + skills. Rapt for him.

How on earth did Melbourne mis-manage their rotations to end up with Kosi on the bench in the last 5 minutes.

I can't believe Saints won, I didn't bother watching I thought it was another thrashing coming up.

I tipped them because it was at Docklands not the G. Thought Melbourne were a bit smug and the Saints were more tenacious and organised. Shows what can be done. We need to have drills and strategies like these up our sleeves, particularly as we've lost by small margins against the more clinical teams.

The Dees used their first hand experience of our grand final capitulation to produce an even worse quarter. Amazing stuff.
