    From Mitch Cleary
Elijah Hollands has been delisted by Carlton with a year left on his deal. He will be considered as a train-on over summer to win his spot back as a rookie. Open to all other clubs in the meantime.

It's a very different version of a rebuild almost a scatter gun approach.
Plenty of changes but fitting the pieces together is going to take some time.
Most rebuilds are more targeted and normally start with stock piling of draft picks.
Nothing against Florent Hayward, Ainsworth, Chesser and Reidy but they're are more of a supporting act rather than the stars on the team

They've lost Silvagni, De Koning and Curnow who are going to be hard to replace.
Then they have also paid out a couple of players to vacate Ikon Park and traded or delisted some other marginal talents.

They appear to be setting themselves up for mediocrity

Carlton also delisted one of their best off field soldiers this week. Captain Blue. Shame on them

Binns? Surely not Hollands or White?

It is pretty weird. Hayward is a good get, not sure about the others. Also seems to be a club where a lot of players want out. Brisbane was like that when Voss was there and changed completely under Fagan.

I actually had the same thought going through my head , Voss is the common denominator , so many Brisbane players left or wanted out under Voss's tenure , now we see the same scenario playing out at Carlton .
When you consider the scenario where Voss berated a 1st or 2nd year player in Binns publicly after a loss , when many senior players , played as badly or worse and made more glaring mistakes then a young Binns , its no wonder certain players want out of that football club .
I belive that style of coach ,coach's in the mould of Barrassi and Kennedy where they would tear stripes off players publicly , thoes days are over , young players can't or wont take criticism like that and definatly not publicly , not saying all but most young players and older players are treated with kid cloves , so im not surprised by the turn over happening at Carlton and why established players on big money want out .
Their turn over or clean out should have started at the top .
Wats the saying " A bad tradesman always blames his tools " .
In this instance the tools maybe fine but the tradesman himself maybe bad .

It really stood out at Brisbane. They had no trouble keeping players through the glory years with Mathews coaching. Then went to not being able to keep players with Voss and now to a 'destination' club with Fagan.
