But isn't there also a rule that keeps certain events on Free-to-air tv? I would dare say that the AFL GF would be one of those protected events.
Anti-siphoning laws ensure all key sporting events have to be broadcast live on free-to-air. But they don't have to be exclusively on FTA - test cricket and NRL GF are on FTA and Fox at the same time. It blows that the AFEL force us all to watch the garbage Ch 7 coverage of the GF with no choice.

As much as this annoyed me at the time, he's played in three straight grand finals and won two flags since he moved to Brisbane. Maybe he was right?

If he didn't request Essendon first i would agree, and why is he the only one with an issue. His best mate seems pretty happy.
As much as he disguised it, I reckon he left for the same reason as Baz. To get more lime light. Everyone loves limes right !

Not saying he was right to leave, but his comments (which I can't find online but I'm sure I remember) once he had moved about the Lions training harder might have been accurate.

Maybe he was. But ultimately when there was no bad blood involved and we were super accommodating in getting to Brisbane, did he need to sink the boot in after he had gone?

That's right he said that they do more running. Was maybe right considering Inness talk.

His comments were not appropriate and he should have just STFU. I took it as having a go at the club.

PS: Matthew Inness is moving from West Coast to Bombers

From what happened over our own preseason I think this year was a bit of a step up in intensity and some players didn't cope. Hopefully they're a little more hardened this time around or we temper the loads a bit.
                      TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.
