He's reportedly on $650,000 at the Crows so it's not like they short changed him.

We were keen on Jack Martin pre his draft weren't we?

Anyway, got told we're looking at him again

Same source said we're looking at Cam Pederson too....which wouldn't make much sense, so probably no substance to either.

I would consider Martin if Wingard falls through but depends on the price - wouldn't want to give up pick 6 without something decent back.

Pederson maybe on the rookie list as a backup key forward/ruck? Takes Redpath's spot. Key forward stocks are thin and rucks will be too if Camhead leaves.

          Demons eye Kade Kolodjashnij

Melbourne have registered their interest in out of contract Suns' wingman Kade Kolodjashnij as he looks to revive his career after five years with the Gold Coast.

Kolodjashnij made an outstanding start to his career, playing 18 games in his opening season with the Suns after being picked at No.5 at the 2013 national draft. He also earned a rising star nomination.

However the 23-year-old struggled for much of the past two seasons, playing just 19 games as he battled concussion issues.

He received a good prognosis on his future midway through this year when it was found the issues were related to his neck and should not inhibit his career.

The Suns have encouraged him to explore his opportunities during this trade period, aware that he might benefit from a fresh start and happy to facilitate a trade as they look to recast their list under Stuart Dew.

He'd be a great pick-up for a lot of teams, given our strength with defenders he probably isn't in the mix for us but I could see some teams lining up to express some interest in him.

I rate Pedersen, good mark, kick and versatile

Handy depth player. Can cover a lot of spots and should be cheap.

Agreed. He is what you want your “break glass” second rung to be.

I like him too for the same reasons, but apparently now he's treacle slow.

Martin is the best young player I have ever seen.

His AFL career hasn't exactly gone to plan but to suggest he isn't worth pick 6 in a straight up swap...

If he is traded it will be for something pretty significant.
What should I tell her? She's going to ask.

He’s a totally untapped talent . Had his injury issues and worst of all playing for the suns

What will the Swans do with Sam Reid?

                              Don't want him, just wondering.

He has a long term contract in place (2021) and I doubt he has any suitors. I can't see any club putting their hand up for that contract even if the Swans offered an incentive
