Re: Proactive Poaching
As ledge rightly points out, it's good to see EFC positioning itself to be the real winners of 2019 when the national trade championships start again and they take home the chocolates for the 20th consecutive year.
Not sure Martin is what they need, but the longer they refuse to address their weaknesses the better as far as I'm concerned.TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.Comment

Re: Proactive Poaching
Schache doesn't play like a genuine KPF, Bruce and Naughton do.
This could be the first time a Bulldogs forwardline even verges on the border of being 'too tall'.
I'm not sure that means we chase both Tippa and Jack Martin though.Western Bulldogs: 2016 PremiersComment

Re: Proactive Poaching
I imagine it would change our forward dynamic considerably and I'd be concerned losing one of that mid-small pressure forward role. Three 195s in our forward line just seems like overkill to me. Lots of teams have tried this against us with a resting ruckman and two keys and the only team that got hold of us was Carlton.Western Bulldogs: 2016 PremiersComment

But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.Comment

Sam Gray is seeking a new club. Plus Ryder & Amon possibly heading to St Kilda.Rocket Science: the epitaph for the Beveridge era - whenever it ends - reading 'Here lies a team that could beat anyone on its day, but seldom did when it mattered most'. 15/7/2023Comment

I have always loved Paddy Rider. Probably a bit too old for us now, but would have loved to have seen him in the red white and blue.Comment

Re: Proactive Poaching
Not in the spirit of the thread....but I’m pretty happy with the list right now. I hope we use the extra cash to secure the talent we have already and add some ‘needs’ based players around them.
But having Bont, Naughton, Smith, English, Macrae and Dunks on the list will be hard to manage salary cap wise in future. Imagine if Schache and Dale become the forwards we are hoping they could be.Comment
