Game moved to MCG as previously mentioned.

If you had a ticket, bonus you get access to the men's game too.

Fans who had already bought tickets to the AFLW match will be able to use those tickets at the MCG for the AFLW game, and also have access to the sold-out men's final later that evening.

This is great to see. Lots of people melting down on various corners of the interwebs, but the tickets are coming from tickets NAB had.

My guess is that there was only a very small number of tickets sold- maybe friends and family- most would buy closer to time or just roll up and buy it on the night (not expecting a sellout).

Yeah i would think it's a very small number. I feel for those that have missed out who are long term contributors to the club.

Absolutely. I feel bad enough that I was successful in securing seats while others who are reserved ticket members missed out. This is even though I hold 4x Long distance memberships (with Social club) and two of them have been for over 15 years.

It's a bugger because even though I'm watching on a box I still like to watch as its happening because somewhere in my psyche I know the result is known and it puts a slight damper on the enjoyment. Call me weird I know.
Any who stream the VFL and watch the replay of the AFLW on Kayo.

You know how Richmond are about to lose most of their good players and be absolutely awful next year, despite already being bad? Well, we’re the template for that.

Just finished watching the replay after the VFL and boy that was a hard watch. I already have doubts on the coach and some of our new recruits. Did our number 1 draft finish with one touch for the game?
We look slow and no system I hope its just a case of getting used to each other but if this goes on all season I can see Elle getting poached as its easier to leave if your not the captain of the club.
I'll try and stay positive and its just teething and first game nerves.

In 2020 and 2021, five clubs (Geelong, GC, STK, WC and Richmond) were granted multiple special assistance draft picks by the AFLW. I think we are now in a worse state than any of them were at the time.

The catastrophic state of our list is mostly our own fault, but it's hard to believe that we won't be given something similar probably with the proviso that we trade them for established players. Getting anybody of any quality who would be willing to come us though will likely be the problem.
