TICKETING UPDATE | Second Elimination Final

Tickets for the 2024 Toyota AFL Finals Series match, Elimination Final 2 – Western Bulldogs v Hawthorn are now exhausted.

Should further tickets become available, they will be released via Ticketek on a date to be confirmed.
It's 1 of only 2 possible MCG finals this year (apart from the Grand Final) between us who haven't played a final in Melbourne since 2016 and the Hawks who haven't played a final since 2018 so the demand was always going to be high.

Yep... I've spent 2-3 hours online today and all for nothing.

Had other commitments (work travel) which tied up some time, but I really should've had some success.

Will be my first Melb final I've missed since I attended my first in 1985.

Was going to take my 8yo to his 1st final.

      ****ing shattered!

Wowsers. Could be the biggest crowd outside of a GF we've played in front of.

Surely tickets will pop up over the next week?

Not sure if these are still available? $150 for our final plus whichever other Geelong final eventuates (either a semi or prelim) https://www.nmfchospitality.com.au/c...ls-series-pass

Asked this question elsewhere- does anyone know what split of the stadium (minus the MCC and AFL members) we get for being the home team?

You would hope being our "home" game it is the lions share, but I am not holding my breath on that.

I think with finals it's an even allocation.

There is definitely a case to be pushed there, particularly from Non-tenant clubs playing a "Home" game against tenant clubs. It is one way you could hand back some kind of advantage.

I had 3 barcodes, 2 worked and 1 didn't so I got 4 tickets but had planned to get a couple more but they had to miss out.

I wonder if there is any allocation at all? Perhaps they just sell it and it depends on the demand. Ie if the Hawks out strip us they might end up with 60% and us 40% if they are quicker to snap them up.

I?m shocked it sold out within hours. Hawks and Dogs aren?t exactly the biggest clubs in town either. I know finals is a different kettle of fish but does it put paid to the idea that only the big clubs can draw massive crowds and deserve marquee games?
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

I'd say there's a lot of neutrals attending this one due to it being the only final in Melbourne in week 1 and also 1 of a possible 2 finals to be played in Melbourne this season (not including the gf). AFL and MCC members would be wanting their finals hit too.

Regarding the club member areas. It'd be interesting to know how much allocation both clubs got but it's our first final in Melbourne since 2016 and the Hawks first since 2018.

I'm still surprised it's a sell-out nonetheless. I was thinking 70-80k. But at the same time I was shocked to see saints v giants get 60k last year at the mcg.
