The scary thing is the lions played average footy for 80% of the game.

Ashcroft got them going and Daniher finished off.

I would not be surprised to see them holding the cup on the last Saturday is September.

Hinkley is a clown.

I’d hate if my coach carried on like that, and if he let a social media post from a 21 yr old get him all upset.

Sure the Hawks have been into themselves, but that’s the players playing. Doing their thing. It’s different. Good on them.

Hinkley is meant to be a grown up, professional, leader… he’s not. He’s pathetic.

You’d normally bank on Daniher missing one of those two late shots in goal. Great comeback/steal.

Two things.

First of all, it's not deliberate and it hasn't been for years. Not having a go, it's just one of my bug bears at the moment.

Secondly, are you kidding? Slapped it straight towards the line under pressure. Easiest decision of the night.

I thought he used the back of his hand indicating he was trying to push the ball forward not out.

I hate the whole deliberate rule it has ruined the game (one of many stupid interpretations )

I can't think of one that comes close.

Top it off with Joe Daniher slotting a wrong side drop point from the pocket, followed by out marking one of the best defenders in the comp for the sealer.

Four months ago GWS were looking like a Monty for the grand final. They're out in straight sets.

Port turned around from one of the worst finals performances in recent history to knock over the form team of the competition.
