    Nathan Bock betting investigation

AFL holding a press conference at 6.30.

It is believed that they will announce suspension of Nathan Bock, in relation to a betting plunge on him as first goal scorer for their Rd 24 game.

Damien Barrett tweeted about this earlier today, seems the AFL has chosen to hold the press conference before he released his story? Or he didn't want to publish anything until it was confirmed by the AFL.

Can anyone remind me of the circumstances surrounding the Heath Shaw investigation, and how this has differed? Certainly a variance in the penalty...I can't see too much difference in the 'crime' though.

Only that Shaw actually bet himself (through a mate)

Ah okay. I didn't remember that part. Fair enough then, I'm sure there'll still be some Pies supporters crying foul.

He does not know how to kick a goal, remember the game against us on the siren when he needed to kick the goal to win the game?

Way to get a thread off topic! What a game that was. A truly entertaing match.

Bock and his family have a history of dumb things.

The distance must have increased over the years, you will find he was about 35 metres out on an angle, definately not on the boundary.
Oh well, Blighty was 95 metres out at Princess Park when he roosted home the winning goal, or so the story goes............
